DULLES, VA and PHOENIX, October 27, 2003

Finding the nearest U-Haul location just got easier for do-it-yourself movers thanks to a new agreement jointly announced today between Mapquest and U-Haul International, Inc. The agreement integrates MapQuest's location-based maps and locator services on www.uhaul.com.

MapQuest, a wholly owned subsidiary of America Online, Inc. is the world's leading online mapping, routing and global location-based services company. U-Haul is the undisputed leader of the do-it-yourself moving industry. Under the agreement, U-Haul has licensed MapQuest's Hosted Locator service to provide maps and an interactive retail locator on uhaul.com to help customers easily find the nearest U-Haul location. The 58-year-old industry leader has over 15,000 moving and self-storage locations throughout the United States and Canada.

"We are extremely pleased to announce this partnership between two industry trendsetters, both experts at helping people get where they need to go," said Walt Doyle, vice president and general manager of MapQuest Business solutions.

"Our Location Finder on uhaul.com is one of the most popular features on the Web site.
